It is a polishing system for the removal of paint defects (P3000) from both fresh and cured surfaces. It can be used with both rotary and DA orbital polishers. 

Where to use 438 IM
 ​ Can be used on all OEM paints in line for the removal of P3000 sanding marks. The ideal product for ONE STEP polishing.  Leaves a brilliant final result without hazes and holograms.

How to use 438 IM
 WITH ROTARY POLISHER  ​ ​
 Use with 352 GRAY CUTTING FOAM PAD for removal of sanding marks P3000 to restore original gloss without dulling and holograms  
Step 1. For a definitive abrasive and polishing action, use 438IM One Step with 352 GRAY CUTTING FOAM PAD at a speed of 1200-1800 rpm.  
Step 2. For extreme shine, apply a second step of 438IM One Step with the 352 YELLOW POLISHING FOAM PAD. 

 ​ WITH DUAL ACTION ORBITAL POLISHER  
Use with 352 GRAY CUTTING FOAM PAD for removal of sanding marks P3000 to restore original gloss without dulling and holograms.  

ONE STEP. For a definitive abrasive and polishing action, use 438IM One Step with 352 GRAY CUTTING FOAM PAD at a speed of 1200-1800 rpm.  Do not use too much product.  Do not add water when polishing.  

1. Apply a small amount of 438IM One Step on the polishing pad.  
2. Polish the surface by applying medium pressure until the defect is completely removed.  
3. Reduce pressure to restore maximum shine.  
4. Remove any residue with our ULTRAMICROFIBRE CLOTH.  
5. Check the final result by cleaning with IPA and a clean microfiber cloth, illuminating the area with the SCANGRIP LED lamp.
